1. Graphing with DeltaGraph

First two-bottle test day

This compares the preference scores on the first day of 2-bottle extinction testing in a bar graph.

Two-bottle Extinction Trials

On four separate worksheets, columns are provided for extinction day (e.g.days 1-14) vs 1. two-bottle preference scores (0.0 to 1.0), 2. saccharin intake (0 to 100 g), 3. water intake (0 to 50 g) and 4. total intake (0 to 100 g). Errors are entered into parallel columns. Line graphs are plotted on 4 separate graph pages.

Two-Bottle Figure

For use as a standard CTA figure in a paper. It plots the first day test as panel A and the extinction test days as panel B on the same graph.

One-Bottle Intakes during Conditioning Days

Columns for CS intake (0-15 g) across conditioning days for two groups (sham = white or magnet-exposed = black) for 3 days. Errors are entered into parallel columns. A bar graph is plotted.

Circling and Rears

On two separate worksheets are 2 columns (sham = white or magnet-exposed = black) for 3 days of locomotor scoring (either circling or rearing) during acquisition. Errors are entered into parallel columns. Bar graphs for circling and rearing are plotted onto the same page.

Intraoral Intakes during CTA Acquisition

Columns for 3 conditioning days and 1 test day of intraoral intake (0-6 g), for two treatments (e.g. control = white and experimental = black). Errors are entered in parallel columns. A bar graph is plotted.

c-Fos across Caudal-Rostral Extent of NTS

Columns for caudal-rostral level of the NTS (-400 to 1600 in 40 micron intervals) and number of c-Fos cells per section for two groups. A line graph is plotted.

c-Fos in 3 Subdivisions of NTS

Columns for 3 subdivisions of the NTS (caudal, intermediate, and rostral) and number of c-Fos-positive cells (0-100 per section), for two treatments (e.g. control = white and experimental = black). errors are entered in parallel columns. A bar graph is plotted.
